Information you give us

• Name (optional) — only if you choose to enter it. Displayed publicly only if you also leave a message.
• Email address (optional) — used to send you a receipt and to let you manage a recurring donation.
• Message (optional) — displayed publicly on the Site if provided.
• Donation amount and frequency — one-time or monthly.

Information we do not collect

• Card details. These are entered directly on Stripe's secure checkout page. They never reach our servers and we cannot see them.

Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, retained for security and abuse prevention.

2. Payment processing

Donations are processed by Stripe. When you donate, Stripe collects the payment and billing information needed to process the transaction, and acts as an independent controller of that data under its own privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, and the optional details you chose to give us. 3. How we use your information

• To process and record your donation;
• To send a receipt and, for recurring donations, a link to manage your subscription;
• To display your name and message publicly, only if you provided them;
• To keep financial records as required by law;
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

4. What we never do

• We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
• We do not share it with advertisers.
• We do not use it for marketing you did not ask for.
• We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels on this Site.

5. Storage and retention

Donation records are stored on our own server in a private database. We keep donation records for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes, and then delete them. Anonymous donations leave no personal data to retain.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to processing, or to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

7. Cookies

The Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout page when you are redirected there in order to process your payment securely.

8. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and us is encrypted. Access to donor records is restricted. Because card details never reach us, the most sensitive category of data never exists on our systems.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
